How long will a battery last?

A few common questions.
Will my solar panels work during an outage?
Standard grid-tied solar generally shuts down when the grid goes out. Backup requires equipment designed to safely isolate your home from the grid and supply supported loads. We’ll review what your existing system can do.
Can I back up my whole home?
That depends on your electrical loads, battery and inverter capacity, and system configuration. We’ll distinguish between which loads the system can start and run, and how long the available stored energy may last.
Do I need solar to install a battery?
Some battery systems can be installed without solar. We’ll check the equipment, utility requirements and whether a standalone battery makes sense for your goals.
What does installation cost?
Pricing depends on battery quantity, electrical work, backup scope, site conditions and approvals. We’ll provide a proposal based on your home instead of a one-size-fits-all price.
